SUMMERKIWI™ is delivered by the producers to authorised
distributors joining the system, which are equipped with
machines for packing and calibrating and cold storage rooms
at controlled temperatures. By means of a careful conduct
of commercial policy, coordinated according to the different
Italian and French production areas, the distributors will
run the market from September till December, granting the
sale of fruits with a higher sugar degree if compared with
the traditional kiwi, in a period when demand, after summertime,
grows bigger again.
In this season the supply consists of wares coming from
the southern hemisphere, with high costs and a period of
preservation in refrigerators of five-six months.
